The 2013 Toyota Venza is a large five-seat hatchback, named by Toyota a “crossover sedan”, that received for 2013 model year an enhanced exterior styling, new standard convenience features and updated option packages that include the Entune multimedia system. Three new exterior colors are also available for 2013 Toyota Venza: Cypress Pearl, Attitude Black and Cosmic Gray Mica. The 2013 Toyota Venza is available in three interior colors: Ivory, Light Gray and Black. A touchscreen interface is now standard on all 2013 Venza models.

The 2013 Toyota Venza successfully couples the flexibility of a SUV with the comfort and styling of a passenger car. The 2013 Toyota Venza is available in LE, XLE and Limited trim levels, and each of them can be equipped with all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive.

The 2013 Toyota Venza LE comes standard with 19-inch wheels, foglamps, privacy glass, automatic headlights, a windshield wiper de-icer, cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, an eight-way power driver seat, a cargo cover, Bluetooth audio and phone connectivity and a six-speaker audio system with a CD player, an iPod/USB interface and a touchscreen interface.

The Convenience package adds  to a 2013 Venza LE a rearview camera and a power liftgate. The LE Preffered package adds these items plus a panoramic sunroof and Entune system. The XLE trim includes all the LE with Convenience package items plus keyless entry, driver seat memory functions, keyless ignition, leather upholstery, Entune system, and HD radio. The Premium package adds to the XLE a panoramic sunroof, a navigation system, a larger touchscreen interface and a 13-speaker sound system. The Limited level of 2013 Venza includes XLE with Premium package items plus LED running lights and bi-xenon headlights.

All 2013 Toyota Venza come with six-speed automatic transmission and front- or all-wheel drive. Two engine choices are available: four- or six-cylinder engine. The 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine produces 181 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque. This engine is EPA-rated at 20 mpg city/ 25 mpg highway with AWD and 21 mpg city / 27 mpg highway with FWD. The 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 268 hp and 246 lb-ft of torque. The EPA-estimated fuel economy for V6 FWD models is 19/26 and for V6 AWD is 18 mpg city / 25 mpg highway.

Standard safety features of 2013 Toyota Venza include seven airbags, antilock brakes system (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Traction Control (TRAC), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and more.
