2013 Honda Accord
The 2013 Honda Accord is a midsize car that is fully redesigned and it is available in coupe or sedan body styles. The ninth-generation oh Honda Accord comes with a new interior, a new four-cylinder direct-injection engine, an updated V6 engine, a new continuously variable transmission, and a generous level of standard equipment.
The 2013 Honda Accord sedan comes in six trim levels (LX, Sport, EX, EX-L, EX-L with Navi and Touring) while the Honda Accord Coupe comes in four trim levels (LX-S, EX, EX-L and EX-L with Navi).
The 2013 Honda Accord LX comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, full power accesories, dual-zone automatic climate control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, an 8-inch video dispaly and a four-speaker sound system with a CD player and iPod/USB audio interface. The new Sport trim of 2013 Honda Accord brings 18-inch wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with shift paddles for the CVT, a rear spoiler and an eight-way power driver seat.
The 2013 Accord EX comes with 17-inch wheels and adds to LX a sunroof, heated mirrors, keyless entry, keyless ignition and a six-speaker sound system. The EX-L trim adds driver-seat memory function, leather upholstery, forward-collisition and lane departure warning system, an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a premium seven-speaker sound system. The EX-L with Navi trim adds a navigation system with voice recognition. The Touring sedan adds LED headlights and adaptive cruise control.
The base engine for LX, Sport, EX and EX-L trim of 2013 Honda Accord is an all-new, direct-injected 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 185 hp and 181 lb-ft of torque (some 8 hp and 20 lb-ft better than the previous base engine of Accord). The standard transmission is a six-speed manual. Optional is Honda’s newly developed CVT.
Optional for EX-L, EX-L with Navi and standard on Touring is an upgraded 3.5-liter V6 engine that now produces 278 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque and it is paired only with a six-speed automatic transmission.
The 2013 Honda Accord comes standard with stability control, traction control, antilock disc brakes, tire-pressure monitoring system, active front head restraints, front seat side airbags, side curtain airbags and more.
